Some of you may have seen my recreation of Pendeford Airfield in the 1950's featuring a Don Everall Douglas DC-3 taking off. It was done with acrylics on canvas after much research, reconstucting the layout of the buildings. The Express and Star interviewed me and did a bit of a feature. Anyway I have produced a limited edition of 100 prints. They are excellent quality at about
A2 in size on heavy silk paper. They are hand numbered and signed by myself and come with a certificate of authenticity. There will be no more and are being sold on a first come first served basis. They are £35 each and will be delivered in a sturdy cardboard tube, postage at £2 mainland UK. I have been mounting framing a few on request for customers local to the Wolverhampton area and have been asking £65 for each framed print which I think is very reasonable. Hi. Sorry if anyone has been having problems accessing the site. Hopefully
I have fixed the glitch. Here are a couple I didn't post even though I did them a while back... (the photo of the second one isn't brilliant, sorry). I keep forgetting to photograph new work! Here are some that I didn't forget. Trouble is they were already framed behind glass when I did. Never mind. You get the idea!
Oh by the way. There will be a new caricature gallery tomorrow.
Hello all.
I have been revamping my site to reflect all the stuff I've been doing as well as the animal portraits. Still a lot to put up but have a look anyway if you want. Very remiss of me. I haven't posted on this blog for ages. I have been working but have forgotten to photograph much of my work!!?? Anyway here are some bits that have been done recently. First up is a painting that I was commissioned to do for the new Birmingham Dog's Home Re-homing Centre in Solihull. This is a state of the art £6 million kennels and the various companies involved clubbed together for this painting of the very first home in Digbeth which opened in 1895. Next up are a few bits that I DID remember to photograph, although some after I had already framed. By the way. If you want me to paint something for Christmas get in touch NOW!!!!
Hello everyone. Here are the first two finished since Christmas. First one is a little Bichon Frise called Sam And the second was a Huskasian (I'll let you work that one out) called Cassie Thanks for looking
Hello everyone. I haven't been able to post any portraits for a bit as most of the work I have been doing was for surprise Christmas presents. Now they have been given out I can post some up! Thanks for looking and a Happy New Year to all my clients past and future! Andy
Hello. I've been a bit quiet on here. The reason is Christmas. Most of the portraits I've been doing are to be Christmas presents so I have been asked not to post them in case the surprise is ruined!
I was recently asked to paint a St Bernard. My client asked 'could I do two?' I explained I'm not a photocopier but could do a framed quality print of the original but this was no good. So I painted the same dog twice for him, albeit from different poses. The dog, Strongbow, is very ill. I have met him (it was like fussing a welsh pony) and it was very poignant for me to paint him. Here is Strongbow... |
